Durban -
Five people were killed in an accident on Old Richmond Road, KwaNdengezi, outside Marianhill, Durban, on Monday morning, paramedics said.
Two people died when their car caught fire after the crash and three more people died on the scene, Rescue Care spokesman Garrith Jamieson said.
Two others were taken to hospital in critical condition.
“It is unclear what caused the collision, however SAPS (the SA Police Service) were on the scene and will be investigating the accident further,” Jamieson said. - Sapa
