One man was injured when a vehicle crashed through a shopping centre in Pietermaritzburg on Sunday, paramedics said.
According to ER24, paramedics sent to the scene found that a car crashed into a store at a Cato Ridge shopping centre, damaging its wall and windows.
“A man in his fifties sustained moderate injuries when a vehicle hit him inside a shopping centre,” a statement from ER24 said.
The injured man was taken to Edendale Hospital for further medical treatment, while the driver was unharmed.
The cause of the accident was being investigated by police. - Sapa
