Durban - A child died and 16 others were injured when a taxi and a truck collided in Newlands, Durban, on Friday, paramedics said.
ER24 spokesman Derrick Banks said a child aged around seven was killed when the vehicles collided at an intersection.
Eight other children were in critical conditions, and another eight were seriously injured.
