Five people were killed and 87 injured, 20 seriously, in a bus crash in KwaZulu-Natal on Saturday afternoon, paramedics said.

The accident happened on Spinal Road near Kwadabeka outside Durban, Netcare 911 spokesman Jeff Wicks said.

“The bus was travelling down a windy road when the driver lost control and the bus rolled into a house,” he said.

Recuers were still at the scene. - Sapa
