Newcastle - A man was seriously injured on Thursday when a chainsaw fell on his leg while he was chopping down a tree in Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal, paramedics said.

When paramedics arrived on the scene they discovered the 27-year-old man's leg was fractured, ER24 spokeswoman Luyanda Majija said.
