Durban - A man was killed when his vehicle veered off the R617 road near Mpophomeni in Howick, KwaZulu-Natal, paramedics said on Thursday.
“The vehicle left the road and landed in a river during 1/8Wednesday 3/8 night,” Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha said.
Locals, walking along the road on Thursday afternoon, found the vehicle in the river and called for help.
Botha said when the paramedics and the police arrived, they found the dead man still seated in the wreckage.
