Johannesburg - A man died and another was seriously injured in a head-on collision on the R102 in Umtentweni on the KwaZulu-Natal south coast, paramedics said on Sunday.
The accident happened on Saturday night, Netcare spokesman Chris Botha said.
Paramedics tried to resuscitate a critically injured man but he died on the scene.
A man who was seriously injured was taken to a nearby hospital.
“Reports from the scene indicate that a third person left the scene before the arrival of the emergency services,” Botha said.
The cause of the accident would be investigated. - Sapa
