Durban - A man was seriously injured after being hit by a train in Shakaskraal on KwaZulu-Natal's north coast, paramedics said on Wednesday.
“...Paramedics, firemen and the police searched the area for some time and in the end found the seriously injured patient in the bush near the railway lines,” said Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha.
“After he was treated and skilfully immobilised on a trauma board, they (paramedics) transported the man to a nearby hospital.”
Botha could not provide details of Tuesday night's incident, saying it would be investigated by police. - Sapa
