Durban - An elderly man died and 16 other people were injured on Monday morning when their minibus taxi overturned on the M25 near Besters, Durban, paramedics said.

“Indications are that the taxi was travelling towards Durban when the driver lost control and overturned several times,” Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha said.

The man that died was ejected from the vehicle as it rolled. Eight other occupants sustained serious injuries, and another eight were slightly hurt. - Sapa
