Durban - A man was killed and two other people seriously injured in an accident in Durban on Monday morning, KwaZulu-Natal paramedics said.
“A man has tragically died and two others were seriously injured in a rear-end accident along the N3 west-bound lane just before the Shongweni off-ramp this morning at around 6.33am,” said Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha in a statement.
“Reports from the scene indicate that the (Fiat) Uno (had) broken down in the fast lane, another vehicle came hurtling down the road and collided with the stationary vehicle, ripping it apart.”
One of the drivers died on the scene and two other people were taken to hospital. - Sapa
