Durban - A man was killed when he was run over by a car near Durban on Thursday morning, paramedics said.
He was killed on the M19 east-bound near the Blair Athol off-ramp, Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha said.
“The man was trying to cross the road during peak traffic and landed in front of a vehicle travelling towards Durban.”
He died on the scene. The car's driver sustained minor injuries and was treated on the scene before being taken to hospital. - Sapa
