Durban - A 23-year-old man has died in hospital after his motorcycle crashed into a car in Durban, paramedics said on Thursday.

The biker was admitted to hospital on Wednesday after a collision at the intersection of McDonald and Nicholson roads around 5pm, Rescue Care spokesman Garrith Jamieson said.

He was treated on the scene and died shortly after arrival at a local hospital. The cause of the accident was not known.
