Durban - One person was killed and two others were critically injured when a panel van rolled down an embankment near Hillcrest in KwaZulu-Natal, paramedics said.
A man was killed in the accident that happened on the M13 on Sunday morning, ER24 spokesman Russel Meiring said.
Jaws-of-life equipment was used to free the two injured people in the vehicle.
“Once freed, advanced life support was performed on the two patients before they were transported to a nearby hospital for urgent medical treatment,” said Meiring.
The cause of the accident was unknown and police were investigating.
