Durban - A light aircraft made an emergency landing on Durban's popular Snake Park Beach on Tuesday morning.

Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha said there were no injuries reported from beach goers or the husband and wife in the plane.

Civil Aviation Authority spokeswoman Phindi Gwebu said the aircraft had suffered engine failure. She said the cause was unknown and an investigator was on the way to the scene. - Sapa
