Road closures in Durban for Armed Forces celebrations

Durban – Durban motorists are advised of road closures in the city on Tuesday due to the ongoing Armed Forces celebrations and demonstrations which are centred on Moses Mabhida Stadium and the beachfront.

Masabalala Yengwa (NMR) Avenue between Smiso Nkwanyana (Goble) and Sandile Thusi (Argyle) roads will be closed from 5am to 1pm.

Umgeni Road between Smiso Nkwanyana and Bram Fischer (Ordance) Road will be closed for the main celebration.

South-bound traffic will have only one lane open from 5am to 9am, and there will be a full road closure from 9am to 1pm, with traffic being diverted at Smiso Nkwanyana Road.

North-bound traffic will have only one lane opened from 5am to 1pm.
