Durban - Six people died and three others were critically injured when a bakkie overturned near Swartberg, in south western KwaZulu-Natal, paramedics said on Wednesday.
The bakkie overturned on Tuesday night on the R617 between Underberg and Swartberg, emergency medical services spokesman Robert Mckenzie said.
Four people died on the scene and two others died on arrival at a hospital in Kokstad.
“Patients who had sustained serious and critical injuries were treated on scene before being rushed to hospital.”
