Pietermaritzburg - A teenage girl was killed in a truck accident in Pietermaritzburg on Wednesday, paramedics said.

The vehicle was apparently reversing at a dumping site on New England road when it hit the 17-year-old girl, Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha said. - Sapa
