Polokwane - At least 35 people were injured when a truck and a bus collided on Friday along the R101 at the Sebediela offramp in Limpopo, paramedics said.

Occupants of both vehicles were found lying along the road and the pavement. Others were trapped inside the vehicles, ER24 spokeswoman Chitra Bodasing said in a statement.

“Injuries ranged from minor to critical. One critical patient had to be airlifted to hospital,” she said.

Others were taken to local hospitals by ambulance.

The cause of the accident was not clear.
