Seshego, Limpopo - The elderly were among the first voters in Zone 1, Seshego, on Wednesday morning at Mponegele Primary School.

Some of the men and women started queuing as early as 4am, saying it was important for them to make their voices heard.

Most spoke of having sleepless nights because of undesirable living conditions.

They hoped their votes would bring about a difference in their lives.

“I woke up very early because of my suffering. I wanted to do this for myself and for change,” said Peter Molepo.
