Man accused of hacking brother to death gets R1 000 bail

Johannesburg – The Thabamoopo Magistrate's Court has granted a man, accused of hacking his brother to death during an argument, R1000 bail.

Limpopo police said Marumpho Charles Tsheka, 34, appeared in court on Tuesday.

"It is alleged that the suspect chopped the deceased Khonola Koketso Tsheka, 32, with a sharp instrument to death after he called him out of the house to talk at their parental home. Police arrested him on the same day," said police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe.

Tsheka is expected back in court next week.
