Limpopo - A pilot was killed when his helicopter crashed in Nylstroom, Limpopo, the province's emergency medical services said on Thursday.
Spokeswoman Venessa Horn said the pilot was the only one in the helicopter when it crashed.
Earlier, a search and rescue operation was launched when the aircraft was reported missing in the province's Bela Bela region. Further details, including the cause of the accident, were not immediately available. - Sapa
