A man aged 55, and a woman, 38, were killed after their car collided head on with a truck on the R81 between Polokwane and Dikgale on Friday morning, Limpopo police said.

Constable Moses Molepo said their car, a sedan, tried to avoid a stationary truck when it collided with another coming their way.

The car went underneath the truck and they died instantly.

Molepo said police were looking for the driver of the stationary truck, who would face a charge of obstructing traffic. – Sapa
