A man died when his car overturned and rolled on the R554 in Bokburg, Gauteng, on Sunday morning, Ekurhuleni metro police said.
Spokesman Kobeli Mokheseng said the man was driving to Katlehong, from Sekunda, when he swerved to avoid hitting something on the road.
He lost control of the car and it overturned and rolled several times before coming to a stop at the side of the road.
His passenger was thrown out of the car, but was not injured, Mokheseng said.
The driver died on the scene. - Sapa
