Five men died when their car hit the back wheel of a bus on the N4 at Ngodwana, in Mpumalanga, on Friday night, said paramedics.

Hydraulic equipment was used to free their bodies from their extensively damaged Fiat Uno, said ER24 spokeswoman Vanessa Jackson.

She said there were no passengers in the bus at the time of the crash. - Sapa
