Johannesburg - Four people were killed in an accident on the R555 between Delmas and Ogies in Mpumalanga, the provincial community safety department said on Sunday.
“A head-on collision between a light delivery vehicle and a sedan on the R555 road between Delmas and Ogies claimed four lives yesterday,” spokesman Joseph Mabuza said.
One person sustained minor injuries and was rushed to Delmas hospital following the accident around 8pm on Saturday.
Community safety MEC Vusi Shongwe called on motorists to “prioritise their lives” and avoid road accidents. - Sapa
