Johannesburg - A report on the awarding of tenders for shop leases in Pilgrims Rest would be released next week, Public Protector Thuli Madonsela's office said on Friday.

The report on alleged maladministration by the department of public works, roads and transport in Mpumalanga could be expected on Tuesday, spokesman Oupa Segalwe said.

“The finalisation of the report, titled 'Poisoned Processes', was delayed and it could not be released as planned at the Public Protector's last media briefing,” Segalwe said.

The report would be released electronically, and would be accompanied by a media statement.
