Johannesburg - Seven people died and eight were injured when a minibus taxi overturned near Rockydrift in Nelspruit on Friday morning, paramedics said.
The taxi was found lying in the veld about 10m from the R40, said ER24 spokesman Russel Meiring.
The injured were treated on the scene before being taken to hospital.
Meiring said one person sustained severe injuries and had to be airlifted to hospital.
