Belfast, Mpumalanga - Two men were killed when their Toyota Tazz collided head-on with a truck on the N4 in Mpumalanga on Thursday evening, paramedics said.
The Tazz was crushed under front of the flatbed truck, carrying a load of steel, about 12km outside Belfast around 6.30pm, ER24
spokeswoman Vanessa Jackson said.
“The two vehicles had come to rest in the field at the side of the road, almost 150m from where the initial impact is believed to have taken place.”
Jackson said the extent of the two men's injuries meant paramedics could do nothing for them.
The wet weather was thought to have contributed to the accident.
