Cape Town – No load shedding is anticipated on Saturday, Eskom said on Saturday morning.

“The system is constrained but stable again today, with a low risk of load shedding. We have had no load shedding for the past two months except for two hours and twenty minutes,” the parastatal said in a statement.

The high daytime temperatures associated with the heatwave in some parts of the country increased the demand during the day due to higher air-conditioning demand.

“The biggest impact we see is from [10am] in the morning until [5pm] in the evening,” Eskom said.
