Johannesburg - Eleven school children were injured when their bus hit a powerline tower on the Wildebeeslaagte road outside Potchefstroom in the North West on Thursday afternoon, paramedics said.
“Paramedics arrived on the scene and found the bus firmly wedged into the tower. Twenty-one children and the driver were found seated on the floor near to the accident scene,” said ER24 spokesperson Derrick Banks.
Eleven slightly injured children were treated at the scene before being taken to various hospitals. - Sapa
