The re-registration of social grant beneficiaries in the North West will continue next week, the SA Social Security Agency (Sassa) said on Friday.
Spokesman Smanga Selemeni said in a statement this was the second leg of re-registrations.
“This process is for those who receive their grants through the post office,” he said.
“In June, we started re-registering those who receive their money at pay points.”
Selemeni said Sassa would soon announce dates for the re-registration of those who received their grants from other financial institutions, such as banks.
“This is an ongoing re-registration campaign to make sure the right people receive their grants,” he said. - Sapa
