Rustenburg – The bullet-riddled bodies of two men were found at Freedom Park informal settlement near Rustenburg on Monday, North West police said.

Police spokesperson Captain Paul Ramaloko said the two, believed to be from Lesotho, were found dead in their car on Monday morning.

“The victims are employees of a mine in the area and were identified through their mine clock cards. They were found by a passerby at Freedom Park informal settlement next to Impala mine. The men, aged 43 and 41, were found with several gunshot wounds,” he said.

Ramaloko said the motive behind the double murder was unknown and no one had been arrested yet.

He appealed for members of the public with more information to contact Detective Constable Rampete on 071 251 0200.
