Three children have drowned in Coligny, North West police said on Monday.

Captain Adéle Myburgh said the three boys, aged between six and eight, drowned on Sunday.

“The clothes of the boys were found near a disused cement dam and their bodies were retrieved on Sunday from the dam by police divers,” she said.

The boys' parents had reported them missing on Saturday. - Sapa
