A man died and two were injured in a head-on-collision in a sharp bend on a road in the Karoo on Friday, paramedics said.
A 50-year-old man in a Toyota Hilux died and another man in the vehicle was seriously injured when it collided with a Toyota Land Cruiser, said ER24 spokeswoman Vanessa Jackson. The injured man was taken to hospital in Kathu, before being transferred to Kimberley.
The 30-year-old driver of the Land Cruiser was also injured and was thought to have been freed by a local farmer who took him to hospital in his bakkie, said Jackson. - Sapa
