A 70-year-old man was robbed of his R700 pension grant in his home in Mamatlake, Mpumalanga police said on Friday.
Superintendent Abie Khoabane said they had since arrested a pair of 23-year-olds who allegedly broke into David Moromeng's home on Thursday night through a window.
Moromeng was allegedly hit over the head with a stone before being robbed of his grant.
The two men had since been charged with house robbery. They were due to appear in the Vaalbank Magistrate's Court soon. - Sapa
