According to lottery operator Ithuba, the PowerBall lottery game which has always been about winning big has not, in recent times, seen its jackpot tipping the scales at R60-million plus.
“This PowerBall jackpot has been very elusive in recent times as it has recorded 16 rollovers already with over 20 million winners to-date. This is Ithuba’s biggest ever jackpot and the excitement is looming all around the country,” Ithuba said.
PowerBall and PowerBall Plus draws get broadcast live on e.tv at 9pm on Tuesday and Friday evenings while ticket sales close 30 minutes before each draw.
