Cape Town - Bonang Matheba, Thuli Madonsela and Winnie Mandela are amongst many South African women making their mark. This Women's Day, we take a look at South Africa's top 10 power women. These are women that have left an indelible mark on society through their contributions in various fields.

This year marks the 60th anniversary of the historic march of more than 20 000 women to the Union Buildings in Pretoria in protest against the pass laws.

On that historic day, women of all ages, races and classes, unified in their disgust for the apartheid machinery showed South Africa and the world that they would not be treated differently, that their hopes and aspirations were inextricably linked with all South Africans and that they had the courage to stand up against tyranny.

Today, we explore how far we have come, who are some of the courageous leaders that have emerged and where to from here in a series of videos.
