17 hurt in taxi crash

Seventeen women were injured when their minibus taxi collided with a car near the Cape Town International Airport on Monday, provincial emergency services said.

Spokeswoman Keri Davids said the two vehicles collided side-on, on Borcherds Quarry road, around 8am.

Three women were seriously injured. The other 14 sustained moderate to minor injuries. – Sapa
