Cape Town - A hiker died after falling from Lion's Head in Cape Town on Friday night, paramedics said.
“Last night [Friday] at around [7pm] Netcare 911 paramedics and the rescue teams from Metro Rescue was called to Lion's Head Mountain in the Western Cape for reports of a person that fell from the mountain,” Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha said on Saturday.
“Rescue teams and medics found the person in the early hours of this morning [Saturday]. Tragically, it was found that the hiker had died before the arrival of the team,” he said.
No other details were provided.
