A man died after part of a building collapsed on him in Macassar, Cape Town on Thursday, paramedics said.
The 27-year-old man was digging a trench next to the building when he was crushed, ER24 spokesman Andre Visser said.
Rescue workers managed to get him out, but he died on the scene. - Sapa
