Johannesburg - A 38-year-old man died after being hit by a train near Hope Road in Bos En Dal, in George in the Southern Cape on Thursday, ER24 said in a statement.
The man was found lying next to the train and upon examination, paramedics found that he has sustained numerous fatal injuries.
“Nothing more could be done for the man and he was declared dead on the scene,” said ER24 spokesperson, Russel Meiring.
Meiring said “the details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations”.
