Cape Town - A 28-year-old man was killed in a fire at the KTC informal settlement near Nyanga in Cape Town on Saturday, said the city's disaster risk management centre.
Four shacks were destroyed in the blaze, spokesman Wilfred Solomons-Johannes said.
“Six people were left displaced.”
The people were given food parcels and building supplies.
“They are already rebuilding their shacks,” said Solomons-Johannes.
