Cape Town - A driver was killed and two people were seriously injured in a head-on collision on the M7 West near Bellville, Cape Town, on Wednesday afternoon, paramedics said.
“Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that one of the drivers had suffered severe injuries and had passed away before paramedics arrived,” Rescue Care spokesman Garrith Jamieson said.
Two people from the other vehicle were stabilised on scene before being taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“At this stage it is unclear how the collision occurred. However the SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.”
