One person was killed and six others were injured when three vehicles collided on Baden Powell Drive in Cape Town in the early hours of Saturday morning, paramedics said.
"The injuries varied from moderate to serious," ER24 spokeswoman Ineke van Huyssteen said.
When ER24 arrived on scene just after 1am, some of the injured were walking around on the scene. They were transported by various medical services to nearby hospitals. The cause of the crash was not yet known, she said.
