Cape Town – Robert Sobukwe road closed in both directions between De La Rey and Borchards Quarry Road on Thursday morning following protest action on Stellenbosch Arterial and Robert Sobukwe.
There was also an accident on the N2 outgoing after Mew Way. The N2 outgoing was closed at Mew Way, with traffic being diverted onto Mew Way along Old Faure Road, Spine Road and back onto the N2.
Three motor vehicles were involved in that accident in which a man died and two people sustained slight injuries.
