Cape Town -

A tipper truck crashed into a house in Gardens, Cape Town, on Thursday, paramedics said.

The driver apparently lost control of the vehicle as he was coming down the hill in Buitenkant Street, ER24 spokesman Andre Visser said.

The truck collided with a bakkie before crashing into a house. The driver was found trapped in the wreckage. He suffered leg and neck injuries.

Two people in the bakkie were slightly injured.
