Washington - US president-elect Donald Trump placed a wreath at
the Tomb of the Unknowns to honour US war dead at Arlington National
Cemetery in the first public event of inaugural weekend.
Clad in black overcoats, Trump and vice president-elect Mike Pence
visited the cemetery where veterans from all US war are laid to rest
just a day before they are to assume power.
The men placed their hands over their hearts as a military trumpeter
played "Taps" and members of the Trump family looked on.
