KING WILLIAM’S TOWN, February 12 (ANA) - Willowvale police have arrested a 25-year-old man for the alleged rape of a 20-year-old woman this week, Eastern Cape police said.
It was alleged that the suspect visited the victim on Thursday at Ngqojini location, Nqadu village, Willowvale, Captain Jackson Manatha said.
"The suspect requested the victim to accompany him as he was going home at [11pm] on the night in question. The suspect allegedly dragged the victim to his home where he is alleged to have raped her."
The suspect was arrested on Saturday and would appear in the Willowvale Magistrate's Court on Monday on a charge of rape, Manatha said.
