Two damaged armoured military vehicles are seen after clashes between President Bashar al-Assad forces and Free Syrian Army in Cairo square near Khaldiyeh area in Homs.
Eighteen premature babies died on Wednesday in a hospital in the Syrian province of Homs because of electricity cuts which affected their incubators, an opposition activist told dpa.
“The babies were in al-Walid Hospital in al-Waar neighbourhood near the dissident area of Baba Amr,” the activist said. - Sapa-dpa
