New York - An earthquake measuring 6.0 magnitude jolted Ceva-i-Ra Reef in southwestern Fiji on Tuesday, the US Geological Survey said.

The quake, occurring at 8:24 a.m. local time(1824 GMT), jolted 171km east of Ceva-i-Ra Reef.

The epicenter, with a depth of 14.81 km, was initially determined to be at 21.4706 degrees south latitude and 176.2113 degrees east longitude.
